The Most Advanced Probiotic Surface Cleaning Technology

Emergency disinfection, and cleaning of germs, viruses, and harmful bacteria should only be handled by trained professionals. Our experienced team of technicians understand the health risks involved from infectious germs, viruses and bacteria. K.O.S only utilizes the recommended equipment, PPE, and disinfectants to effectively decontaminate contaminated areas.

We can provide expert cleaning and disinfection in homes, office buildings, vehicles, gymnasiums, schools, medical buildings or any other contaminated area or environment.

We Follow A 3 Step Disinfection Process:

Step One

Wipe down all (*touch point surfaces) 6' from the ground using Multi-Task Probiotic Biosurfactant Cleaning Solution with a clean microfiber cloth. (*Touch point is defined as a minimum of 2' up from the floor and 2' down from the ceiling for a standard 8' foot wall.)

Step Two

Using a UVL Fogger we apply ANASPHERE Plus (*EPA Registered Disinfectant) to all Touch Point Surfaces within the Touch Point Zone. (*This EPA Registered disinfectant has over 140 kill claims, including but not limited to: Covid-19, Hepatitis B & C Virus, Herpes Simplex type 1 & 2 Virus, HIV-1 Virus (AIDS Virus), MRSA, Influenza (All Strains), measles virus, and Novo Virus.

Step Three

One the disinfectant has dried, using a ULV fogger set to .7 microns, we retreat the Touch Point Surfaces with Enviro Mist to provide (*extended protection) of those surfaces. *Z-Probiotic Enviro Mist is a concentrated micro-flora spray that leaves a powerful barrier of GRAS probiotics on surfaces. The proprietary microorganisms in Enviro-Mist establish and maintain a healthy microbial community on hard surfaces and fabrics.

Coronavirus COVID-19 Information

*In response to the latest emerging updates on coronavirus COVID-19, we are updating information on the outbreak as quickly as possible. Please also visit The CDC for additional information.

Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV); and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). A novel coronavirus (nCoV) is a new strain that has not been previously identified in humans. The virus has been named “SARS-CoV-2” and the disease it causes has been named “coronavirus disease 2019” (abbreviated “COVID-19”).

Genealogy: Covid-19 (SARS-CoV-2 based virus) is an RNA based enveloped virus. Enveloped viruses contain a lipid membrane on the cell wall which adheres to the host cell in order to proliferate. This being the case, the cell wall is easily penetrable to most common disinfectants. Common EPA approved disinfectant makeup can be Quaternary Ammonium Compounds, Phenolic Based products and some Hydrogen Peroxide based formulas.

Transmission of COVID-19: Coronavirus is most commonly transmitted from person to person, through droplet nuclei spread out from breathing, coughing or sneezing. Droplets can remain suspended in the air for extended periods and are highly respirable. It can also be spread through contact on surfaces. The virus can remain viable on surfaces from several hours up to 9 days depending on ambient conditions, amount of moisture in droplets, etc. The virus is believed to be most contagious in a person when their symptoms are evident. However, it’s possible that they may be contagious before and after visible signs of symptoms.

People who no longer test positive for the virus may still be infectious according to some of the research. Information on the transmission of the Coronavirus COVID-19 is being updated as doctors learn more about the virus and how it spreads. We will continue to provide the most up to date information as quickly as possible.

Symptoms of COVID-19: For confirmed coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases, reported illnesses have ranged from mild symptoms to severe illness and death.

Symptoms can include:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath

The CDC believes at this time that symptoms of COVID-19 may appear in as few as 2 days or as long as 14 days after exposure. This is based on what has been seen previously as the incubation period of MERS-CoV viruses.

Personal Protective Equipment PPE: Technicians are required to don full Level “C” personal protective equipment during the decontamination of contaminated zone procedure in areas where cases have been confirmed. Splash resistant coveralls, shoe covers, double gloves, full face Air Purifying Respirator (APR) or Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR). Coveralls should be decontaminated with electrostatic spray prior to doffing and disposal. Level “D” PPE is sufficient in unaffected/pre-emptive disinfection projects & for final surface wipe of contaminated zone areas.

The CDC advises that the following precautions are taken to lessen the risk of contracting COVID-19:

Prevention:

There is currently no vaccine to prevent coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. However, as a reminder, CDC always recommends everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, including:

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Stay home when you are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
  • Follow CDC’s recommendations for using a facemask.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
    • If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.
